Founder of Kunwento

Hi, I'm Sofia

Founder, Spiritual Mentor, Akashic Guide

Akashic Records practitioner and LiteWork creator

My story

I was born in the Philippines and I live in Bexhill-on-Sea now. For nearly twenty years I worked in corporate, creative and government jobs, including big campaigns and projects back home. It taught me how to turn complicated things into stories people actually get.

I've worn a lot of hats along the way: professional photographer, executive producer, marketing and advertising, real estate consultant and now life coach. Photography taught me to find the story in every moment. Advertising taught me how stories are shaped. Real estate taught me resilience and the value of trust. I bring all of that into my sessions.

Kunwento started in the Philippines, in coaching sessions, readings and healing circles. Starting over in the UK wasn't easy, but stories travel well. In 2020 my spiritual practice went deeper: I studied the Akashic Records, astrology and energy work, including Seraphim Blueprint I and Reiki II. Over time it all came together into one way of working: a mix of intuition, life-path guidance and the power of your own story. I now read in person in East Sussex and online for clients across the UK and back home in the Philippines.

A small moment that stayed with me

In 2021 I was on Siargao when Typhoon Odette hit. While we sheltered from the storm, I swapped Akashic readings for meals with the people around me. It reminded me that this work is really about connection. Kunwento grew from there.

Why “Kunwento”?

Kunwento comes from kuwento, the Filipino word for story. Where I grew up, storytelling is how we remember, how we stay connected and how we get through things: stories told over the dinner table and at bedtime. The name is a nod to that. I believe your story deserves to be understood, not just lived.

How I work

Respect your story.

Your experiences matter, including the messy bits.

Look for patterns.

What keeps repeating is often the most useful clue.

Keep it clear.

No jargon and no guru stuff, just honest, practical insight.

“It stops becoming a habit when you're aware. If you're still doing it, then you're just choosing to be tolerant.”
“Fill your cup first before anyone else. After all, they always say to put an oxygen mask on yourself first before helping anyone else.”
